“Juanita is truly inspirational”

Juanita’s teaching methodology has helped break through preconceived notions I held towards my singing ability. She helped me realise that with proper training and practice it is possible to sing in tune and to enjoy the sound of my voice. Juanita constantly challenges me to push further and explore new depths with my singing, helping me work through songs that prove to be difficult and explore multiple genres. Through Juanita’s guidance I’ve gained an appreciation of music as a craft and realised that singing isn’t reserved for those born with the ability – anyone can learn.

I’ve also had the pleasure of watching my nine year old daughter blossom in confidence and ability from her attendance at lessons with Juanita. She can’t wait to get to her lesson each week, eager to learn and then perform what she’s learned for the entire family. Through singing, her vocabulary has increased and her articulation has improved dramatically. The greatest gift Juanita has given me is the time that my daughter and I now spend together, practising our singing and encouraging eachother to try new and different songs. Christmas carols in our family have never sounded so good.

Now singing is becoming a family affair, our progress has inspired my partner to take the leap and start lessons with Juanita. So thank you Juanita, you have instilled a love for music and singing in my family, which has brought us closer together. Your confidence, enthusiasm for the craft, endless patience and knowledge of performing have inspired each of us. We couldn’t have asked for a better teacher and mentor.

Juanita Cucinotta was a big factor in me developing the confidence to get up in front of a crowd and sing the blues professionally. I still have a way to go but the advice I got from Juanita improved my ability to communicate in song. From never, ever singing to gigging clubs and festivals – Juanita is a great friend and teacher, and I’m very grateful to her for her instruction.

What do you want from a Singing Teacher? Well if you’re like me you want someone who knows what they’re talking about and is able to convey that knowledge in a professional and caring way allowing you to achieve your goals.

Juanita is a musician and singer and therefore is able to provide experienced vocal coaching as well strong music support through one on one lessons and recorded backing discs to assist with your individual practice. As a performing singer and musician of long standing she also knows what’s required to perform to a live audience and is able to convey that experience in a way that is understandable and able to be applied.

It is evident from the very start that Juanita loves to teach and has a genuine caring attitude toward her students. So whether you are young or slightly older, a beginner or have experience; whether you are experiencing problems with pitch, rhythm, time or lack of confidence, Juanita can help.
